John Coghlan recalled first meeting with Status Quo bassist Alan Lancaster, guitarist Francis Rossi and keyboard player Jess Jaworski, then The Scorpions, in 1962. Although they had to share a single amp, Coghlan said it sounded incredible sound. He featured on the first fourteen Quo albums, including fan favorites such as 'Caroline' and 'Rockin' All Over the World'. He signed the mount of Stella Tooth's portrait's when bought by a fan at the Half Moon Putney where a rotating exhibition of her work is on the walls.
